Kim Hartzler-Weakley, Ph.D. (she/her): Principal Investigator & Project Director // hartzlkm@jmu.edu
Kim is the Associate Director of Research and Public Health at JMU’s Institute for Innovation and Health and Human Services (IIHHS). She currently serves as the Principal Investigator for over $3 million in grant-funded programs that provide experiential learning opportunities for students and collaboration with faculty while addressing pressing community needs. She also is an Instructor for the Department of Health Sciences and the School of Nursing at JMU. She is a proud triple Duke (‘00, ‘07M, ‘18D). Kim is especially interested in adolescent health and has been working at IIHHS since 2003. When she is not working, Kim can usually be found with her husband on the soccer field and basketball court watching her children in action.
